Plastic surgery is my passion. Repairing what nature could not properly shape, as well as correcting defects that occur during a person’s life, is both a challenge and a goal for me.
In order to meet this challenge, I am actively involved in scientific work, which lays the foundation for the further development of new surgical techniques.
During my five years of work at BIDMC Hospital of Harvard University, in collaboration with MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) and Tufts University, I have had the opportunity to contribute to the development of new surgical methods such as: the use of bioresorbable components for bone fusion, neuromodulation using bioactive membranes and cuff electrodes, the use of 3D printing in plastic surgery, and imaging of microsurgical flaps using ICG cameras.
The research being conducted provides insight into the future, guaranteeing new therapeutic possibilities that ensure the highest safety and increasingly refined surgical outcomes for patients — that is, for you.
I warmly invite you,
Marek A. Paul
